Visit some of Japan’s hidden gems during the Spring season!

Trip Features;

  • Sakura Village – around 5,000 cherry trees grow at the foothills of Mt. Myogi. From mid-April to mid-May, these delicate flowers contrast with the craggy peaks of Mt. Myogi. The village has a relatively long flowering season because its 45 or so cherry tree varieties flower at different times.
  • Mount Myogi –  one of the three best scenic spots in Japan. The fantastically shaped rocks sculpt dramatic forms of natural beauty and offer various attractive landscapes and can be viewed with pleasure from up-close or afar.
  • Nakanotake Shrine – is known for its 20-meter tall statue of Daikoku, a deity of wealth and luck. The 8.5-ton figure, which clutches a sword, is considered a rare depiction of the deity, who typically holds a mallet.
  • Myogi Shrine – famous for its oddly-shaped rocks and mysterious stones, and occupies a scenic spot with old cedar trees. The shrine was originally called Hakoso no Okami, and later changed to Myogi.
  • Wisteria Festival – Wisteria flower (Fuji in Japanese) is one of the most beloved spring flowers in Japan. The Great Wisteria Festival at Ashikaga Flower Park has been chosen as one of the top 10 international dream destinations by CNN in 2014, thus the wisteria flower has become a top tourist attraction in spring in Japan.
