Kagura is one of the highest elevated snow resorts in Japan, and each year receives one of the earliest snowfalls. It is also one of the few resorts that operates as early as November to accommodate the early birds and allowing you to enjoy and shake out those rusty legs.

Naeba is one of the largest and most popular snow resorts in Japan, visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year. Snow machines make ski/snowboarding possible this time of the year allowing you to enjoy and shake out those rusty legs.

ITINERARY

• Meet the group in Shinjuku at 7：20pm（FREE BUS provided by collaboration）

 * Fri (Dec 15) 

• Meet the group in  Shinjuku at 7:20pm
• Get on the bus
• Have a relaxing drink, chat with other members and get excited
• Short stop for food/snacks on the way
• Arrive in Naeba around 11:15pm
• Check-in at the hotel
• Try the rentals

 * Sat (Dec 16) 

• Breakfast at 7:30am
• Get the gear on
• Walk to Naeba ski resort (7mins) or private shuttle to Tashiro ropeway at 8:30am (10mins)
• Ski/snowboarding at Kagura or Naeba until 4:30pm
• Private shuttle back from Tashiro to the hotel (10mins)
• Take a hot shower/bath or visit the local onsen nearby
• Relax and have some drinks
• Dinner at 6pm
• Apres-ski party

 * Sun (Dec 17) 

• Breakfast at 7:30am
• Get the gear on
• Walk to Naeba ski resort (7mins) or private shuttle to Tashiro ropeway at 8:30am (10mins)
• Ski/snowboarding at Kagura or Naeba until 3:30pm
• Private shuttle back from Tashiro to the hotel (10mins)
• Take a hot shower/bath or visit the local onsen nearby
• Change clothes/get ready
• Get on the bus at 4:45pm
• Stop for dinner on the way
• Arrive back in Shinjuku around 8:15pm

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, COVID-19 restrictions and other unavoidable circumstances.
• Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
• Minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 persons per room.
• Male/Female only rooms are available.
• Group of 4-6 friends can have their own room.
• Private room for 2 persons available for an extra fee on a first-come/first-served basis (limited rooms).
• Free ski/snowboarding lesson is on Sat (Dec 16) from 9:30am until 12pm at Naeba Ski Resort.
• Lift pass will not be provided if you avail the beginners discount.
• You don’t need a lift pass to join our free ski/snowboarding lessons. However, if you’re a fast learner and would want to ride the chairlifts, you can buy a “ride ticket” which costs around ¥400-500 per ride. On average, beginners only take the chairlifts 4-5 times the entire weekend. Some beginners, not at all!
• Shuttle bus from/to hotel/Tashiro will be provided on both days.
• There will be a ¥3,000 fee for ski/snowboard boots JPN size 28.5cm and above.
• Lunch not provided but available at the ski resort.
• Dinner and breakfast are buffet style.
• Soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bath (ofuro).
• Towels available for rent at the lodge for ¥200.
• You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the hotel. Address will be provided upon request.
• You must check out of your room before 10am on Sun (Dec 17), and put your belongings in the luggage room before going ski/snowboarding.
• Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.

• ※Even if last-minute reservations and payments have been made, WelcomeTokyo will contact you if the number of participants exceeds the number of participants for the event. If we are unable to increase the number of participants, we will refund the participation fee. In that case, we will do it without charge.
